Open roles

Tiger Team brings adults with professional careers and families together to raid in World of Warcraft: Forever. We're building a team of 26 who take the game seriously, prepare together, and share responsibility for steady raid progress.

Leadership

  • Raid Lead1 open

Our Raid Lead brings our preparation into one plan so we can spend our four hours making progress together.

  • Tank Lead1 open

Our Tank Lead works with the tanks and healers on a plan each player can follow and cover.

  • Healing Lead1 open

Our Healing Lead helps the raid share healing and dispel duties so each player knows where support will come from.

Officers

  • Recruitment Officer1 open

Our Recruitment Officer helps applicants understand the work we need and checks that it fits the time and skills they can offer.

  • Loot & Gear Officer1 open

Our Loot & Gear Officer helps us plan upgrades together and understand the decisions behind each drop.

  • Logistics Officer1 open

Our Logistics Officer shares supply and camp preparation across the team so each contributor knows what we need from them.

Raid seats

  • Tank1 open

Our Tank plans with the other tanks and healers so we know who takes each target and who can take over.

  • Healer3 open

Our healers prepare together so we can rely on each other for the coverage agreed before the raid.

  • Melee DPS6 open

Our melee players share damage and control assignments, with one player preparing tank cover so we can change the plan when needed.

  • Ranged DPS8 open

Our ranged players share damage and control assignments, with one player preparing healing cover when the team needs it.

Reserves

  • Reserve6 open

Our reserves are part of the same team, with duties agreed around the nights they can offer.

ApplyWe raid Wednesday and Sunday. Invites start at 7:45 pm Central. The first fight starts at 8:00, the last fight starts at 9:50, and the raid ends at 10:00. We do not add required nights. We prepare and review fights in Discord during the week. Reserves agree with us which nights and hours they can be available as backups.

How the team is organized

GMOur GM works through guild decisions in writing with the three officers and Raid Lead. The GM makes the final decision and records the reason.
Three leadsThe Raid Lead owns the raid plan and review, the Tank Lead owns tank assignments, and the Healing Lead owns healing and dispel coverage. The raid hears one voice: the Raid Lead directs calls and delegates tank and healing calls.
Three officersRecruitment handles applications and trials, Loot & Gear maintains gear guidance and loot records, and Logistics coordinates supplies and camp setup. All three run the guild around the raid and hold raid seats with agreed assignments.
Twenty raid seatsOur two tanks, four healers, six melee, and eight ranged each own one assignment agreed in the boss thread before raid night. Each assignment names the player who covers it if its owner cannot.
Six reservesOur one tank, two healers, and three damage reserves agree their nights and cover hours in advance. On those nights, they hold the same assignments and prepare from the same boss threads as the players they cover.

We agree on assignments in Discord during the week so we can use raid time for fights. After a failed plan, we review what happened and change what we can. We handle concerns about one person privately. Our three leads and three officers also hold raid seats. The GM is part of the team of 26 when raiding. The Loot & Gear Officer keeps our gear plans and loot records, and we use the published loot rules.
